Terms

Terms for using Genius tools.

Last updated: 19 September 2026

What you are buying

You are buying a licence to use, not the software itself. The licence is personal and lets you use the tool on the number of machines stated in the plan you bought.

What is not allowed

  • Selling your key or giving it to someone else.
  • Attempting to decrypt the library or extract its contents outside the tool.
  • Redistributing the tool or any part of it.

A key that is shared gets revoked.

The library

The assets inside the library — fonts, sounds, templates — are licensed to you for use in your own work, commercial or personal. They are not licensed for you to sell on their own or include in another library.

Every asset and its original licence are listed inside the tool.

AI

The transcription engine runs on your machine. Your audio is not sent to any server, ours or anyone else’s. If you configure an external provider yourself in the settings, their terms apply to that.

Warranty

The tool is sold as it is. We work to make it run everywhere, but we cannot promise it on every combination of Windows or macOS and every version of Premiere. If it does not work for you, we refund you.

Changes

If we change these terms, the date above changes. A change does not apply retroactively to a licence bought before it.
