What we keep

For the order: your email, your name if you gave one, the plan and the amount, and the transfer reference if you sent one. That is what lets us give you the key and refund you if you ask.

For the licence: when you activate a key from inside the panel we record a device id — a fingerprint built from the machine name, the user name and the platform, not those values themselves. It exists to count machines and nothing else.

What we never see

• Your audio and video. The transcription engine runs on your machine. Nothing is uploaded.
• Your projects. The panel reads the project open in front of you in order to work on it, and that reading never leaves the machine.
• Payment details. The transfer happens between your bank and ours. No card number passes through us.

The log file

The panel writes a local log on your machine to help with problems. It is never sent automatically. You send it if you want to.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. One thing is kept in your browser: your light or dark preference, which stays on your machine and never reaches us.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted: support@genius.app. Deleting an account revokes the licences attached to it.
