Genius Motion
A panel inside Premiere and After Effects that does the repetitive work while you stay on the timeline
- Cut silence and repeated takes without watching the whole thing
- Word-timed captions, transcribed on your own machine
- An asset library inside the panel — pick and place
- Animated title templates for After Effects
It sits next to the timeline
Not another application to open, export from and come back to. Genius Motion is an extension. It opens from Window › Extensions inside Premiere Pro or After Effects and works on the project already in front of you.
What it does
Silence cutting
It reads the sequence audio, finds the gaps, and shows you where they are
before it touches anything. Approve, and they go — rippled or not. Every cut
lands in one undo group, so a single Ctrl+Z puts the sequence back rather
than walking you out one cut at a time.
Repeat removal
It reads the transcript, finds the lines said more than once, and lets you pick which take survives.
Captions
The engine runs on your machine — no audio leaves it and there is no API key to buy. Timing is per word rather than per line, and captions land on the timeline as a caption track, or as graphics in a style you set.
YouTube chapters
Chapters from the transcript or from the markers you already placed, handed back ready to paste into the description.
Project organiser
It reads everything in the Project panel and files it into bins by rules you set. It shows you the plan first — nothing moves before you agree.
Keyframe presets
Ready-made moves written onto the selected clips: zoom, pan, shake and the rest, at a distance and speed you set, with a curve you can see before you apply it.
Export presets
Sends the sequence to Media Encoder at the settings the platform you are posting to actually wants.
The library
Inside the panel itself: fonts, sound effects, music, transitions, overlays, LUTs, backgrounds, mogrt templates and presets. Every item shows itself before you add it — a font drawn in its own face, a sound with its waveform, a clip that plays.
And the library is not downloaded up front. It arrives as you use it, so the install stays small.
Title templates for After Effects
Forty-four animated title templates that install into After Effects and turn up in Essential Graphics ready to adjust.
